British Oncological Association
Welcome to The British Oncological Association Homepage.

The BOA was established in 1985 to provide a multidisciplinary forum for the presentation and discussion of cancer research and development.

The BOA hosts National Annual Meetings, most recently in association with the National Cancer Research Institute (NCRI), as well as site-specialised symposia, and meetings on other topics of oncological interest.

The BOA have an active junior membership who meet annually at the NCRI meeting to discuss areas of particular importance to oncologists in training.

Membership of the BOA is open to oncologists of any discipline, including doctors and nurses, administrative staff, and research professionals. Practitioners of medical, clinical and surgical oncology are amongst our 350 members.

The Association is led by the President, supported by the secretary, treasurer and other council members. The council meets regularly to develop future strategies and meetings.
